Ultrapower Realized CNY 200mn Net in H1

SHENZHEN, Jul 29, 2011 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Beijing Ultrapower Software Co., Ltd (Ultrapower, SZSE: 300002), a company ranks the second in the ChiNext, realized CNY 200 million in the net profit in the first half of this year, increasing 33.86% over the same period last year.

The operation revenue of Ultrapower amounted to CNY 535 million in the first half of this year, increasing 40% year on year. Of which the investment income from Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technology Co., Ltd (Hi-Think), a shareholding enterprise of Ultrapower, was CNY 23.776 million.

The investment income made great contribution to the net profit increase of Ultrapower. However, there was no investment income during the same period last year.

Ultrapower explained that Fetion, one of its main products, the operation of which was shifted from Aspire Information Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd (Aspire Info) to Guangdong Branch of the China Mobile Communications Corporation (CMCC) from July 1, 2011.

Ultrapower will strive to keep the continuous, sound and smooth development of Fetion in the future.

Ultrapower realized CNY 74 million in the net profit in the first quarter of this year, following Lepu Medical Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd (SZSE: 300003) with CNY 140 million in the ChiNext.
