Wa: Zentai plans extradition defence
An accused Nazi war criminal will meet with lawyers this week to plan a defence against
his extradition to Hungary.
CHARLES ZENTAI of Perth last week lost a constitutional challenge in the High Court
.. against the power of state magistrates to rule on extradition matters.
The ruling clears the way for Perth Magistrates Court to continue extradition hearings
against ZENTAI .. who's wanted in Hungary for allegedly torturing and murdering an 18-year-old
Jewish man in Budapest during World War II.
The 86-year-old's son ERNIE STEINER says his father plans to meet his lawyers on Thursday.
