NSW: Firefighters prevent disaster in Hornsby
SYDNEY, Feb 8 AAP - Firefighters averted a possible disaster in Sydney's north this afternoon.
Just before 2pm a drying oven in a panelbeater's workshop in George Street Hornsby
caught fire and was dangerously close to spreading to the tyre factory next door and a
gas barbecue shop across the road.
Fire Brigade spokesman Ian Krimmer said it was only the quick response of fire fighters
