Vic: Workers expect high moral standards at work

It's being claimed that Australian workers have high moral standards.

The evidence is said to be in a survey of employee sentiment released today.

The Job Futures/Saulwick survey says more than 91 per cent of Australian workers believeplaying computer games and surfing the net at work is inappropriate.

Around 87 per cent of works disapprove of arranging for someone to clock on or coverfor you if you are going to be late.

But people are more lenient when it comes to making personal telephone calls and takingthe occasional sickie with disapproval from only two thirds of those surveyed.

Job Futures CEO ROBERT TICKNER says the results show Australian workers have high moralstandards.
